Burned straight into genuine red alder, not a plate screwed on top. The mark is the wood itself, so there is nothing to peel, lift or come loose.

FAQ
What size is it and what is it made of?
10 1/2 by 13 inches, 3/4 inch thick, genuine red alder with a double roll beveled edge.
The engraving area is 9 1/2 by 12 inches. The border is part of the plaque, so artwork sized to the full 10 1/2 by 13 is about an inch too wide.
How does it hang?
A keyhole is already routed into the back, so it hangs on a single nail or screw. Nothing to buy and nothing to attach.
What do I need to send?
Three images: your division patch for the top left, your brigade or battalion patch for the top right, and your platoon or company emblem for the center.
Vector images are preferred. .AI, .EPS, .SVG, .PDF, .PNG, .JPG or .PPTX.
Send a PowerPoint or a screenshot if that is all you have. We will quote you to redraw it before anything is charged.
What if I only have one or two patches?
Message us. The layout on this page is built around three, so fewer means moving things around. We will quote it and set it up for you.
Do I have to fill in every line?
No. Seven lines is the most that fits, and they are what these usually say. Leave any of them blank and we leave the line off.
You can also use them for something else entirely. Type what you want to see and we will set it.
When do I need to order by?
Standard is a proof in 36 to 48 hours, then 2 to 3 business days to make it once you approve. Rush is a same or next day proof, then 24 to 48 hours.
Those are the days to MAKE it, not to deliver it. The date you pick above is the date it is ready to collect or ship. If we are mailing it, add the shipping time on top.

Weekends are not production days, and the clock starts when you approve the proof.
Do I get to see it before you engrave it?
Always. Every plaque is proofed and nothing is engraved until you approve it. Check the spelling of the name and the dates carefully, because wood does not have an undo.
Can you fix up my unit emblem?
Usually. A lot of unit art only exists as a low resolution image off a website, and it has to be redrawn clean before a laser can cut it.
Redrawing is quoted separately and is not included in the price on this page. Send what you have, we will tell you what it needs and what it costs, and you decide before anything is charged.
If it is beyond saving we will say so rather than take the money and hope.
Can I order several at once?
Yes. Change the quantity and tell us the names in Special Instructions, or message us and we will set it up.
Plaques for the same unit share most of the design work, so get in touch if you are doing a whole section at once.
