Custom Image Artwork Guidelines for Direct-To-Film Transfers

To ensure the highest quality of your custom transfer sheets and DTF prints, please adhere to the following artwork requirements at Blu Ridge Design Co.:

  • Artwork Preparation: Confirm your artwork is "Ready To Print" to avoid cancellations. Orders with inadequate artwork will receive a store credit to reorder post-correction.
  • Resolution Quality: For sharp and clear prints, maintain a resolution of 300 DPI. Lower resolutions may result in blurriness or pixelation.
  • Image Clarity: Zoom into your image to check for blurriness; images that appear blurry when zoomed in will also print that way.
  • Background Transparency: Ensure your images have transparent backgrounds to facilitate accurate printing. Orders with non-transparent backgrounds may be subject to cancellation.
  • Artwork Submission: Submit your images exactly as you wish them to be printed; Blu Ridge Design Co does not alter artwork unless help is requested.
  • Color Accuracy: Design your artwork in the CMYK color spectrum. Be aware that printed colors may slightly differ from your monitor display.
  • Quality Assurance: We do not replace low-quality transfers for free due to resolution issues; a new order at a regular price is necessary for high-quality replacements.

DTF transfers are designed to be durable and withstand multiple washes. To maximize the lifespan of your printed garments, it is recommended to wash them inside out on a gentle cycle and air dry.

What is the turnaround time for DTF transfer orders?

The typical turnaround time for DTF transfers is 2-4 business days from the order date to shipment. This timeframe can vary depending on the size of the order and current production schedules.

What should I do if my order is defective or damaged upon arrival?

Please inspect your order upon delivery. If you find the item defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us within 7 days of the delivery date as shown on the tracking information. We will evaluate the issue and work to make it right.

Are there any items that cannot be returned or refunded?

Yes, all DTF transfer sales are final. Additionally, we do not accept returns or offer refunds for sale items, bargain bin items, or purchases made with gift cards.

What happens if my package is lost or damaged during shipping?

We utilize Simply Shipping Protection to insure all orders. We highly recommend purchasing shipping protection at checkout. This ensures that lost packages, or those marked as delivered but not received, are replaced at no additional cost to you. Without this protection, we cannot replace lost packages, and you would need to repurchase the items at full price.
