A family print shop in Ludowici, Georgia
Hello, we are Chase and Megan Young, the owners of Blu Ridge Design Co.
We started Blu Ridge in 2020 selling custom digital designs. If you were cutting stickers on a Cricut, engraving wood and metal with a laser, or looking for PNG files for sublimation and shirt transfers, we had something for you.
Designing led to printing. We tried sublimation, then started ordering screen print transfers, and neither one gave us what we were after. Sublimation was limited by the garment. Screen transfers were hit or miss and capped at a handful of colors.
So in 2022 we bought our first DTF printer, and we have not looked back since.
How your transfer is made
Our DTF transfers print roll to roll on a Mimaki TxF300-75. Clear film feeds straight off the roll through the printer, passes through our shaker and dryer, and winds back up on the other end.
We then take the roll off and trim every transfer to size by hand, so what lands on your bench is ready to press.

Use a commercial grade heat press on a good blank and our transfers give you a shirt that feels soft and light, and that holds up wash after wash.

It is not just transfers anymore
What started with transfers is a whole shop now. Die cut and kiss cut stickers, bumper stickers, vehicle decals and magnets, banners and yard signs, custom apparel, and laser engraved plaques and tumblers.
It is all made here in Ludowici, on our own machines, by the two of us. Nothing is sent out and nothing is drop shipped.
On a personal note
Chase and I have been married eighteen years this November, and we have three boys who are the reason we keep pushing this thing forward. When we are not in the shop we are outside, at the beach, on the boat, hunting or fishing.
